KORE Platform
The center
The KORE RESEARCH ENGINEERING – KO.RE – Platform was activated in 2018 as a multipurpose facility for teaching, research and consultancy purposes in the fields of civil, environmental, energy and computer engineering.
It extends over a fully covered surface area of approximately 800 m2 and houses the following laboratories: Environmental Health Engineering Laboratory; Environmental Hydraulics Laboratory; Energy and Environment Laboratory; Diagnostics and Restoration of Architectural and Cultural Heritage Laboratory; Roads, Railways, Airports Laboratory; Geotechnics and Earth Dynamics Laboratory; Survey and Representation Laboratory; Computer Engineering and Networks Laboratory; STMLab Laboratory – Laboratory for Speech Technology research and Machine Learning.
Research activities are carried out in collaboration with researchers from national and foreign universities and research institutions.
The results produced in the different research fields mentioned are the subject of numerous publications in national and international journals and are constantly presented in national and international conferences concerning each specific sector.
