UKE provides students with spaces specifically designed for individual and group study in the University Library in all buildings hosting degree courses and research doctorates.
The Library has approximately 1000 seats available in the reading rooms which house books and magazines and in special rooms for group activities, separate from the reading rooms.
Normally all study rooms have sockets for powering laptops and charging cell phones.
Classrooms with computer stations are present in all the buildings, with a capacity of 50 seats each, managed by central server. Three additional rooms are present in the University Library, with 50 individual stations each.
The Language Centre also has its own computerised classrooms.
Finally, a 200-seat room is available for the administration of computer based tests.
