Strengths of the SUS Department
An innovative teaching in the field of psychological, social, and applied movement science professions, thanks to the possibility of participating in laboratory activities (Psychometrics Laboratory; LAMP-Laboratory of Movement and Performance Analysis; KUBE-Lab – Kore University Behavioral Lab; Computer Science Laboratory)) (#https://unikore.it/index.php/it/ricerca-scientifica/laboratori), making use of first-rate scientific and teaching technologies.

Attention to the needs of the student through a direct relationship with the teachers who monitor their career and provide support and tutoring, specific orientation services thanks to the student-tutors who welcome and offer support in all phases of the training path, a constantly updated web website and My UKE App and computerized procedures for administrative practices and the booking and recording of exams.
Excellent facilities (disciplinary laboratories, classrooms, study spaces and library) where teaching and training activities take place, and which allow students to use suitable, comfortable and technologically advanced spaces (the wi-fi system is available in every area of the Department). The Department includes among the facilities built the “Pettinato” Hall and the “Maria Montessori” Great Hall, which with its capacity of almost 400 seats, is the venue for numerous scientific and cultural events of considerable national and international attraction.
Support and services for students with disabilities throughout their educational path thanks to the presence of a special University commission, which represents a point of reference for the resolution of problems inherent to teaching and physical and organizational structures, with the opportunity to request necessary aids and/or additional time in completing entrance tests and exams
In order to promote inter-university exchange , international cooperation, comparison of learning methodologies and a better knowledge of foreign languages, our students are encouraged to spend periods of mobility for study or internship purposes at prestigious foreign universities and research institutes thanks to the Erasmus+ Programme [#Kore International Relations Office (KIRO)
It is also the seat of State Exams for the qualification to practice the professions regulated by the Presidential Decree- 328/2001 – Psychologist, Doctor in Psychological Techniques for Social, Organizational and Work Contexts, Doctor in Psychological Techniques for Personal and Community Services.
