Kore University of Enna supports students with disabilities and DSA by offering personalized services, accessible resources and inclusive paths. Our goal is to guarantee equal opportunities, promoting a welcoming community that values every student.
The Kore University of Enna, through KODIS – University Commission for Disability (University Disability/DSA Service) organizes and promotes services aimed at University students who find themselves in difficulty due to physical and/or sensory disabilities, or students with learning difficulties, in compliance with the CNUDD 2002-2014 guidelines.
The services aim to guarantee students equality in study opportunities and class attendance. KODIS therefore coordinates the assignment of services and all initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of students enrolled at Kore University who present temporary or permanent disadvantages.
The purpose of KODIS is to promote and establish collaborative relationships with other University services and with Territorial Institutions, in order to coordinate interventions, raise awareness and contribute to the development of a new culture of inclusion.
To access the Service, you must register by sending the following to the University protocol ( protocol@unikore.it ):
NB For students with DSA:
As required by Law 170/2010, clinical diagnoses of DSA must be issued by National Health Service facilities or, depending on the region, by accredited specialists or facilities, or by private specialists or centers whose diagnosis must be validated by the relevant ASL.
The diagnosis must be updated every 3 years (or when moving from one school level to another) if it is carried out by a minor student, while the update is no longer mandatory if the student has already reached the age of 18.
It will therefore be valid for the entire duration of the university course.
NB for all students:
To benefit from the KODIS service assistance, it is necessary to renew the registration at the beginning of each academic year by repeating the procedure listed above.
Disability services promote the inclusion of students with disabilities in university life. In particular, they aim to remove obstacles of various kinds and to create conditions of equal opportunities for study and treatment.
The University provides students with DSA with services that ensure their inclusion within the university community and that take into account their specific characteristics and needs.
