In the public sector, the privileged sectors are those of the armed forces, the police forces and all careers related to the defense of national and European interests, including professional profiles related to the diplomatic career. To this end, during the three-year period, a specific preparation activity for public competitions will be organized, with simulation of written tests or pre-selection tests.
In the private sector, graduates in Strategic and Security Sciences will be able to work, in command or coordination roles, in the field of private security, as well as in non-governmental organizations dedicated to humanitarian activities. Employment sectors estimated to be constantly growing because the globalized society increasingly needs professionals with security skills.
For those who, instead, wish to continue their studies after obtaining the three-year degree, there are many possibilities. First of all, they can enroll in a second level degree course of the LM/DS Master's Degree Classes in Defense and Security Sciences; they can opt for another second level degree course, after evaluating the credits earned; and, finally, they can evaluate whether to continue their studies by enrolling at Kore in the five-year single-cycle degree course in Law, given that the curricular path, especially with regard to the legal field, will be fully valued.
