Alias Identity

Alias Identity Recognition

An alias identity is a person's first name, different in gender from the one under which the UKE registration was registered, which anyone interested intends to adopt in place of the birth or registry name, in relation to the possible desire to start a gender transition process or for any other reason that the University does not require to be made explicit.

The alias identity is realized by transcribing the new name in the main internal documents of the University (such as, for example: cards, booklets, lists, email address, lists with advertising, etc.).

The alias identity has value only within the University. To have universal value, a decision of a jurisdictional seat is required.

Requesting and obtaining the Alias identity is very simple in UKE. Just follow the procedures indicated in the specific Regulation published on this page.

Anyone who requests or intends to request Alias identity and would like to receive support within the services that the University makes available to its student community can book a consultation directly on the specific pages of this site.
