Internship Activities

The Curricular Internship is one of the periods of on-the-job training, at a company or an institution, foreseen by one's study plan, which constitute an opportunity for direct knowledge of the activity and working practices by the student. It is one of the qualified training tools to support the learning process of the various professional roles, through the intersection between theory and operational practice.

The curricular internship activity also represents an individual and guided experience of learning in the field, which allows the student, through study and documentation activities, to develop cognitive, relational and methodological skills. This activity allows for careful experimentation and a gradual acquisition of skills and functions pertinent to the professional role that the student will have to cover at the end of his/her university course.

The student who intends to carry out an internship activity must follow the curricular internship start and end procedure.
