Department
The Department of Medicine and Surgery of the Kore University of Enna – the fourth in chronological order in Sicily – was authorized by the Ministry of University and Research on April 14, 2020, after the establishment of the Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery had been given the green light on March 11.
The Kore University of Enna, after having worked with determination for the birth of this new Department, intends to express in the sector of medical education and research the same commitment that it has shown in its first fifteen years of life in all other scientific and educational fields in which it has extended its interests, pursuing the same objectives of quality, seriousness, transparency and attention that have made it one of the most appreciated universities in Italy by students and the academic world.
The Department of Medicine and Surgery of the Kore University of Enna was born in the context of a happy and fruitful collaboration between all four universities of Sicily, which unanimously have espresso full support for this goal, which should be considered an important sign of cohesion and projection towards the future of the entire Sicilian university system, strong in a centuries-old and prestigious tradition.
The building that currently houses the Department of Medicine and Surgery is divided into three levels and has the following spaces for teaching activities:
