The three-year degree course in Nursing aims to train a worker, the nurse, who at the end of the training course, must have acquired knowledge with a broad transversality with respect to scientific and humanistic knowledge, professional skills, technical, relational, organizational, educational abilities, autonomous and responsible decision-making capacity as well as a strong vocation for problem solving.
The specific educational project of the course is structured in such a way as to provide adequate preparation in the disciplines of the biomedical area and in the fundamentals of the professional discipline. The general objective is to train graduates capable of carrying out activities aimed at the prevention, treatment and protection of individual and collective health, health education, assistance of the sick and disabled, nursing management in public or private health facilities, in the territory and in home care, in a dependent or freelance regime.
The training is carried out through theoretical lessons (frontal teaching), guided study, seminars, tutorial activities, self-learning activities. Practical-exercise and internship activities are also planned, useful for the application and better understanding of the theoretical knowledge learned, with progressive acquisition of autonomy and responsibility.
