Kore University of Enna

The attention to quality research of the University of Enna “Kore” is realized in the pursuit of the following main strategic objectives:

  • support fundamental, applied and technology transfer research activities;
  • develop new interdisciplinary lines of research to address increasingly challenging social challenges;
  • develop strategic partnerships to increase the impact of research on society with a particular focus on sustainable development;
  • incorporate research results into university education for its continuous updating.

The Faculties are responsible for implementing the mission in their scientific areas of expertise.

National Recovery and Resilience Plan - PNRR

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR, abbreviated to Recovery Plan or NRRP) is the plan approved in 2021 by Italy to relaunch its economy after the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to allow the green and digital development of the country.

The University of Enna “Kore” actively participates in the relaunch of the country, through involvement in research projects that aim to achieve the fundamental objectives of the PNRR: repair the economic and social damage of the pandemic crisis and contribute to addressing the structural weaknesses of the Italian economy:

territorial gaps;
low rate of female participation in the labor market;
weak productivity growth;
delays in the adaptation of technical skills, in education, in research;
ecological transition.
