The degree course in Economics and Management held in Enna is of recognized national prestige.
Within the teaching activities, ample space is given to meetings with leading figures in finance, economics, the world of production and business management. The course is taught by tenured professors of the University who are supported by professors from other prestigious Italian and foreign universities. The course aims to train professionals able to use their training in an increasingly complex socio-economic context and ready to enter the various sectors of the economic and financial market. In addition to the basic ones, the characterizing teachings concern: marketing, entrepreneurship and business planning, big data and artificial intelligence for business, behavioral economics. At the University of Enna, students who graduate in Economics and Management can, if they wish, continue their studies up to the Master's Degree.
Students who intend to enroll in the first year do not have to take the selection test. After enrollment, a mandatory assessment of entry skills is required to fill any initial educational gaps, with specific free courses organized by the University.c
The degree course aims to provide graduates with adequate preparation in terms of knowledge and skills in the field of
economic, quantitative and legal disciplines, in order to define a professional profile capable of interpreting and
govern complex corporate phenomena with reference to small, media and large-scale, public and private entities
private, operating in various production sectors both at local level and in global competitive scenarios.
The course, through traditional and laboratory teaching methodologies, will allow the acquisition of principles, methods and techniques of business analysis and management that can be used mainly in the entrepreneurial and managerial fields, in business consultancy and in market analysis. In line with these training objectives, significant importance is given to the experience gained in the field during the internship period.
Specifically, the training path includes basic courses such as: business economics, political economics, elements of law and mathematical methods for economics. Among the characterizing courses: entrepreneurship and business planning, industrial economics, marketing and business strategy. Finally, among the related courses: big data and artificial intelligence for business, decision-making processes and behavioral economics.

The degree course aims to provide graduates with adequate preparation in terms of knowledge and skills in the field of economic, quantitative and legal disciplines, in order to define a professional profile capable of interpreting and managing complex business phenomena with reference to small, media and large-scale public and private entities operating in various production sectors.
The graduate may find employment as an accountant (after passing the state exam), economic analyst, expert in business economics and/or innovation, business consultant, as an employee in industrial and service companies or in public administration.
Concrete job opportunities are represented by: – the activity of manager – at various levels of the hierarchical ladder – in small, media and large-sized public and private companies operating in various production sectors; – business consultancy and market analysis activities; – entrepreneurial activity.
The main employment opportunities are identified, among others, in: intermediate and managerial roles in the various corporate functions, business consultant, small entrepreneur, designer and analyst of information and accounting systems, financial broker, market analyst, as well as (after passing the relevant exams following the achievement of the doctor's degree and any internship provided for by law) financial promoter, accountant, etc.

The Tutor has an interface role between teachers and students and takes care of, according to the general guidelines of the Dean of the Faculty and the Presidents of the Degree Courses, specific initiatives within the teaching activities of the teaching structures. Therefore, he/she carries out support activities for what concerns the optimization of learning processes: for example, he/she provides students with indications and suggestions concerning, among other things, the organization of study times, learning methodologies, planning of evaluation phases, design and drafting of the degree thesis, use of commonly used and advanced software.
The Tutor, Dr. Jonathan Amato receives Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 09.30 to 12.30, Tuesday and Thursday from: 14.30 – 17.00 by appointment, at the Faculty of Economic and Legal Sciences.
